DESCRIPTION:How the future sounded\, how the past will sound \nSince its creation in 1985\, Ensemble Recherche has made a truly significant contribution to the culture of contemporary music in Germany and around the world. In 2025\, we celebrate the ensemble’s 40th birthday by looking back – and forward – at some of the works and collaborations with composers that have shaped\, and continue to shape\, our creative identity. \n40 Jahre Ensemble Recherche! comprises four concerts – each dedicated to a decade of the ensemble’s existence –held over a three-day period in Ensemblehaus Freiburg.
