Mozartfest Würzburg

Together with Ensemble Recherche, Isabel Mundry will develop a concert experience für Musikfest Würzburg 2022 that musically explores Mozart's identity. Whose Mozart is this? How do we hear his music and with which Mozart image? Re-reading Mozart – combined with and heard by Isabel Mundry.

After his first string trio from 1965, Helmut Lachenmann writes his second string trio for the musicians of Ensemble Recherche. In addition to Lachenmann's new work, a string trio by Kristine Tjøgersen will be premiered in Witten, and in Milan his new composition will be combined with a world premiere by Sergei Nevsky.
