DESCRIPTION:“Balades Oniriques” – Portrait of Farnaz Modarresifar \n“Balades Oniriques” is the first result of a long-term collaboration between Ensemble Recherche and Paris-based Iranian composer and santoor player Farnaz Modarresifar. Modarresifar is known for the novel musical syntax she has developed for her instrument – a combination of Persian traditional modality and a contemporary European approach to the exploration of timbre.
