Lukas Nowok
Through his restless commitment to collaborations and engagements with many of Europes most active and innovative sound artists, composers, collectives and ensembles of contemporary music and performing arts, Lukas Nowok contributed to the development, realisation and stagings of countless concerts, operas, theatre performances, audio/visual installations and recordings at venues and festivals around the world, always fueled by an interest in the playfulness and expressive possibilities of new technologies. As an interpreter of electroacoustic music, programmer and creative technologist he has collaborated extensively with artists and friends such as Chaya Czernowin, Brigitta Muntendorf, Anda Kryeziu, Sara Glojnaric, Marcus Schmickler, Manos Tsangaris and many others. On top of that he is a founding member of Matter of Facts Studio, an artist collective and label dedicated to experimental music theatre and audio-visual installation art with which he works regularly, resulting in frequent performances at Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm Frankfurt and Kampnagel Hamburg among others.
