Under the title “how to reboot the universe”, Ensemble Recherche presents its new multimedia music theater piece for young audiences aged 12 and over and for adults. The central figure in it is a researcher, seeker, (self-)optimizer, doubter, hero, destroyer, in short: the prototype of today’s human being.
The room we find ourselves in is his laboratory with experimental set-ups of various miniature worlds. Which of these possible worlds works best? Which knobs can be turned to optimize them? A wild journey through miniature cities and landscapes begins and what he (and we) discover there is something he would never have expected: The final exercise to reboot the universe begins. It’s about nothing less than love and respect.
