Opening concert with members of ensemble recherche and the Freiburg BarockConsort
At the center of the Ensemble-Academy is Academy Week, which this year takes place from the 7th to the 12th of September 2020. Far more than the juxtaposition of different styles and epochs, it is about the manifold exploration of older and newer music. Mutual artistic inspiration is central to this. The exchange of experiences about different performance practices plays just as much a role as the broadening of horizons through new approaches. In addition to the shared enjoyment of music, the aim of Academy Week is to impart specific skills for making music in specialized ensembles for older and newer music.
