The Applied Composition programme at the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa aims to provide a contemporary education in the field of music production, with a focus on experimental areas – combined with the diversity of contemporary practices and tools of production. During the postgraduate programme, students have the opportunity to work with internationally renowned teaching staff, the Ensemble Recherche and the Schallfeld Ensemble – after an intensive workshop phase, the collaboration culminates in a concert with world premieres of all newly created works.
