In this concert, Helmut Lachenmann‘s new string trio is heard in the context of his first string trio composed 57 years earlier. The highlight of the concert is a world pre- miere by Chris Swithinbank, who searches for volatile textures in his music. He writes, „With my music I want to open doors to worlds that might not otherwise exist.“ We jump with joy into this musically delightful rabbit hole!
